Product Description

        HSS Left Hand Metric Round Adjustable Dies are designed for cutting left hand external screw metric threads, either by hand, using a diestock or by machine using a die holder. Left hand threads are used to secure rotating parts where a regular rotation would tighten the nut, and in applications where left hand studs and fastners are needed. They can also be used to cut smaller or larger than factory settings by turning the adjusting screw in or out. Commonly used for threading rods, bolts and studs.
